Caxias do Sul is a town in southern Brazil. Set in the hilly Serra Gaúcha region, it’s known for its winemaking and Italian cultural history. The Stone House Museum and the Municipal Museum trace the history of the Italian immigrants who settled here in the 19th century. The Museum of Grape and Wine has historical exhibits and a tasting room. The Church of São Pelegrino features a replica of Michelangelo's "Pietà."
