Majadahonda is a municipality in Spain, situated 16 km northwest of Madrid, in the Community of Madrid. It lies alongside the motorway A6 Madrid-A Coruña. The Puerta de Hierro university hospital was relocated to Majadahonda from the western part of the city of Madrid into a newly built medical complex in 2009.
