Nishiizu is a town on central Japan’s Izu Peninsula. Near the town center, boats cruise past the cliffs of the Dogashima Coast. Sunlight shines through a hole in the roof of Tensodo Cave. Offshore islands, including Zojima, are connected to the coast at low tide. Farther north, there are hot-springs resorts at Dogashima Onsen. Koganezaki Cape is known for its views of the sunset and of Mount Fuji across Suruga Bay.
