Bryan, a producer in Hollywood originally from Ontario, is watching a mediocre puppet show he's producing. He tries explaining to a producer that the production is going well and under budget. He rejects the producer's request to do a movie called A Canadian Werewolf in Hollywood. However, as he's arguing with the publisher, the clouds part and the full moon shines on Bryan, causing him to drop the phone and turn into a wolfman. Meanwhile, a thief is breaking into the studio. He at first doesn't want to heed the "Beware of Dog" sign, but he flees after seeing a shadow of Bryan transforming and growing a snout. The producer is getting impatient and shouting to see what's going on. Bryan picks up the phone with his claws and tells the director he will direct A Canadian Werewolf in Hollywood as long as it's a night shoot.
