Iran, late 70s. Young Emkan falls in love with Maasoum, the mysterious daughter of the owner of the local movie theater. The revolution and the war break out. Maasoum escapes with her family. Emkan, against all, fights for his artistic aspirations and runs after her in times of turmoil. He discovers she is Jewish - A message of peace at a threatening time.
