Zinal is a charming mountain village and resort, with lifts offering access to the Grimentz-Zinal ski region’s extensive network of runs. Cross-country ski routes start in town, and hiking paths offer views of the towering peaks of the surrounding Grande Couronne mountain range. The 1900 Chapel of Saint-Barthélemy has a Gothic altarpiece, and several hotels in the town date back to the 19th century.

Vissoie is a village in the district of Sierre in the Swiss canton of Valais. The village became an independent municipality in 1905 when it split from the municipalities of Ayer and Grimentz.

Bagnes is a former municipality in the district of Entremont in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. On 1 January 2021 the former municipalities of Bagnes and Vollèges merged to form the new municipality of Val de Bagnes.
