Plot summary

The first film about America of the seventies, Valentin Zorin began with the city of Chicago - the eight millionth giant stretching on the shores of Lake Michigan. Chicago is called the industrial capital of the United States. It may just as well be called the main center of the American working class. In Chicago, the social contrasts of 1970s America are particularly striking.
