Vieri Baldini Venkman, Florentine, 43 year old bum, is the nephew of Peter Venkman, one of the original Ghostbusters. In the 1980s Peter Venkman hid ghost-busting equipment in his home in Tuscany because it had become illegal in the United States. Vieri is a failed parapsychologist who lives a messy life as a teenager without a penny. One morning Cosimo Gori, nuclear engineer and parapsychologist, shows up at his door. Cosimo, convinces Vieri to join him together with Ermanno Galloni a young scientist in a ghost hunting in an ancient castle in Florence, using Uncle Peter's equipment. Once they arrive at the haunted castle they meet the owner (Sergio Forconi) and his son Pietro, a weirdo with the ability to get in touch with damned souls, as well as Tessa, an alternative girl with psychic powers who was the first to spot a paranormal phenomena in the castle. The girl joins the team helping them understanding the connection between these strange phenomena in Florence, until they discover the most terrifying truth.
