Au pays des glaces Filming Locations

A part of Arctic explorers have their ship blocked in the ice, and we see them passing their time by hunting bears and whales. One day, one of them, crossing a bridge of ice that crumbles under his feet, is precipitated down a crevice, from which is with great difficulty rescued by means of ropes. Despite all their efforts they ultimately succumb for want of food, and the last, while endeavoring to revive his companions with brandy, is himself also overcome. We see his dream in an aurora borealis, and then the gradually falling snow covers him and his companions.
