The documentary recounts the attack to the city of Barcelona by the Italian Legionary Aviation during the Spanish Civil War. These were the first bombings of saturation in history and the second after Gernika in number of deaths in a single raid: 2,500, a thousand of which only in three days on 16, 17 and 18 March 1938. Personally ordered by Mussolini, the bombings were a studied way of terror in order to massacre people and wipe out gradually their sources of livelihood. The film provides little known details such as official documents that prove how democratic Italy continued receiving money from Spain for his participation in the war. It also shows how in 2013 the Audiencia of Barcelona admitted a complaint against the Italian riders who participated in the bombings. The victims, meanwhile, are still expecting that Italy apologizes officially for these events.
