Plot summary

The main character of the series is Gerard Edling - a lecturer, expert in the field of kinesics (a science dealing with the study of body language) and a former prosecutor. The man is unofficially asked to help in capturing a young and shy but dangerous madman - Horst Zeiger, who took the children and tutors of one of the city's schools hostage, without demanding anything in return. Using the power of the Internet, he begins to implement his intricate plan - organizes a kind of games of death and invites everyone to virtual participation in the bloody show. Under great time pressure, Edling tries to discover the kidnapper's motivation and outsmart him. The result of their duel is a gruesome spectacle, broadcast online to thousands of viewers.
