Plot summary

A sleepy little town. A bank robbery. Arved Minks is the first policeman at the crime scene. The bank is quickly surrounded by his colleagues, all escape ways are blocked for the hostage-takers. But Arved finds out that he is not dealing with an unknown perpetrator: it's his own son JACOB. When Arved realizes that Jacob is not acting on his behalf but is used as an instrument in a thoroughly arranged crime, a murderous roller coaster ride begins that confronts him with his repressed past. That night Arved is moved only by one question: How far has he got to go to protect what is most precious to him?
