Home to the national stock exchange, it’s a financial hub also known for its high-end restaurants and shops. Plot summary

A story presenting personal and collective events that offers a reflection about sport accessibility, suburb life, migrant condition, ladies football and ultras role in the Social Football movement. This is Cap20100, a documentary in which a self managed experience Championship, goes in parallel to other 4 self managed teams participating in official tournaments. The structural lack of funds and spaces is the common point of these experiences. The solution is searched creating a strong network. A strong relationship which make possible to face the dramatic Pandemic event with several initiative to support people, underlining how the value of these projects is beyond the strict pitch experience. Director Statement For many years I've been involved in these social football projects aiming for inclusion. My motivation to talk about this reality is because I had the chance to play for many years in the football fields meeting a lot of people and interesting projects. 'Campionato antirazzista popolare' is a network of people I met during the years which share some simple ideas: inclusion, respect, anti-racism, anti fascism and solidarity. In its firsts editions many migrant people were playing there, for free, also due to the explosion of the migrant camps opening in the whole Italy. The chance to realize this idea has come thanks to the collaboration with Gian Marco Duina and Altropallone association, with the goal to present not only the organization of the 'Popular championship' but also to talk about the rising phenomenon of the popular football teams. These teams have the peculiarity to be self financed, self managed by partners, individuals, players and fans, all together in a communal assembly. Without any president or society they are often very politicise, sharing a common idea of a different football. If the 'Popular championship', being inclusive, open, informal does not require any id document, giving chance to play to anyone, by the other side 4 Popular teams joined official tournaments and they faced all the troubles that Figc Association can present to migrant without regular documents. They are trying to make some pressure to resolve these problems and it even exist a team formed by almost only migrants guys called St.Ambreous. Since I decided to talk about these 4 football teams and a self organized championship I had more than 200 people to work with. I though the best solution was to represent it with a collective tell. The main protagonist had to be the social football itself despite the personal stories of the people. In this way to me all the characters in the film have a symbolic position more than personal and specific. Trying to avoid the stereotype, Lamin, Alex, Marco or Nyenyeri represent the different conditions of the migrants in their migration and inclusion journey. Gian Marco, Francesca, Simone or Paolo even they were important actors in all those movements, they represent a long tradition of social football projects in the city. I also tried to show and give light to the city suburbs, their vitality and even beauty. Corners, buildings which at a first look could appear sad, ugly and grey they present a huge hidden and unexpressed energy in reality. Hushed up sometimes by those ones who show only the most trendy side of Milan. One thing I could not image was that my research had to stop suddenly and early by the Covid-19. I could just follow few months of the developing of all these projects. I tough since the beginning to include something about the pandemic but I was so surprised to see how all those groups of football teams were the first to reacts to the crisis. The existing network made possible a fast reaction and many groups of people started to offer their solidarity in different city district. The Voluntary Brigades for Emergency have involved all the social football teams people. The name "Cap20100 - the importance of playing together" has different meanings. By one side Cap20100 is the generic post code of Milan, but is also the acronym of 'Campionato antirazzista popolare' the popular championship. From the other side the same meaning of postal code is related to the fact of having a place, a house, in which you have a postal code. So is related to the right for many migrant to live their lives and having documents. The log line talks about the importance of the networks in a place like Milan for playing, socializing, finding a job, friends. This role is also visible in a situation like the pandemic crisis.
