Plot summary

Adapted from the classic chinese novel "Journey to the West", The Monkey King (Dicky Cheung) got punished by the Buddha and imprisoned under the Palm Mountain, the only method to release himself is that he is willing to team up with The Mentor as well as the Sand Monk, The Dragon Horse and Chu Bak Gei, to get a bible from the West Sky, in order to save the entire world, which is going to be destroyed by the deadly evil. During the adventure and the tough journey to the west, The Monkey King and the team also encounter several evil villians and also has to face the crisis that may break the relationship between the team.
