Plot summary

Jóska Teleki is the factory's celebrated star footballer, but he neglects his work and his brigade is left behind in the competition. This causes him to fall out with Pista Rácz, a good worker who doesn't like sports. However, Pista meets Jóska's sister and starts playing sports for her. Soon he falls in love with both the sport and the girl. He becomes the sports supervisor, and following his example, despite the machinations of Bogdan, more and more employees start to play sports.
