Plot summary

Young and head-strong New York flapper Georgie May Stockwell,, visits the Thurman ranch and vamps every man on the place, including Cal Thurman, who falls hard for the pert easterner. Valuable ranch land is opened by the government, and Cal beats Hatfield in a hot race for the best homesteading site. Georgie carries on a flirtation with Hatfield, who tries to get rough with her until he is roundly trounced by Cal. Tuck Merry, a local character, advises Cal to assert himself with Georgie, and Cal takes the advice to heart, abducts her and forcing her to marry him. Cal takes Georgie to his cabin in the woods, and they are most unhappy with each other until they come to realize their mutual love when faced with the hazards of a forest fire.
