How much I love you is an archive montage released in 1985, directed by Azzedine Meddour. Through these images, the director paints a portrait of French colonization in Algeria. Through documents from French archives before and during the Algerian War, the images follow one another and ironically depict all the inequalities between French and Muslims before the conflict. The light and satirical tone used contrasts with the harshness and horror of the images. This documentary highlights all the violence and ignominy, still hidden today, of French soldiers, commanders and generals. This documentary was directed by Azzedine Meddour in 1985, father of Mounia Meddour, director of Papicha. The film will be awarded by the American Film Festival in New York, "Perspective" section.
