St. Gallen is a city south of Lake Constance (Bodensee), in northeastern Switzerland. It’s home to the Abbey of St. Gall, a monastery of various architectural styles including baroque. The complex includes a library with a rich collection of ancient books, and a twin-towered cathedral. Nearby, the Textile Museum details this important local trade. Many buildings in the old town have decorative bay windows.

The canton of Zurich is an administrative unit of Switzerland, situated in the northeastern part of the country. With a population of 1,553,423, it is the most populous canton of Switzerland. Zurich is the de facto capital of the canton, but is not specifically mentioned in the constitution.

Chiasso is a municipality in the district of Mendrisio in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. As the southernmost of Switzerland's municipalities, Chiasso is on the border with Italy, in front of Ponte Chiasso. The municipality of Chiasso includes the villages of Boffalora, Pedrinate and Seseglio.
