Plot summary
A petty criminal in post , just out of jail, is trying to find work. In order to get a job he needs to have a passport, which in turn he can't get without having a job first. When he finds an officer's overcoat for sale in a pawn shop, he decides to impersonate an officer and get his passport that way.
