Resurgo Place is home to the Moncton Museum, which explores the city's history, as well as the Transportation Discovery Centre, with hands-on exhibits. The restored 1920s Capitol Theatre hosts concerts. To the northwest, Magnetic Hill seems to defy logic and, at its base, causes cars to roll uphill. The Magnetic Hill Zoo’s inhabitants include lions and zebras.

Plot summary

-Léo Huff is sent to Bic Park to sell a dubious recreational and tourist infrastructure project to the local residents. While there, he meets Lou, an attractive young woman trapped in an unhealthy relationship. After catching them talking, Roch, her violent boyfriend, brings her back to order. Worried about her, Leo follows them home and spies on them from a distance. When Roch leaves in the morning, Lou goes to join the indiscreet one. Thus begins a passionate affair between the timorous employee, stuck for years in a loveless marriage, and this young wife, who does not hide her intention to get rid of her brutal spouse.
