Hamburg, a major port city in northern Germany, is connected to the North Sea by the Elbe River. It's crossed by hundreds of canals, and also contains large areas of parkland. Near its core, Inner Alster lake is dotted with boats and surrounded by cafes. The city's central Jungfernstieg boulevard connects the Neustadt (new town) with the Altstadt (old town), home to landmarks like 18th-century St. Michael’s Church.

Plot summary

A film about life's problems and the love affairs of two men and women in their twenties. They pretend to suffer from the mediocrity of their lives but in fact try to cover their own lack of perspective and inner emptiness. Setted in scene surprisingly amusing, this crazy and happy Zeitgeist-Comedy abstains from a comment while describing those people in their vividness as well as in their incapacity of giving their existence any sense. Therefore, the film becomes a both interesting and alarming seismograph for mental concussions and shortfalls.
