Peschiera del Garda is a resort town at the southern tip of Italy’s Lake Garda. The 16th-century Porta Verona is one of the gateways in the old city walls that ring the historic center. The Palazzina Storica Museum houses frescoes and WWI objects. Across the Mincio River, the Madonna del Frassino Sanctuary features 16th-century cloisters. Water birds inhabit the nearby Lago del Frassino nature reserve.

Brittany, France’s northwesternmost region, is a hilly peninsula extending out toward the Atlantic Ocean. Its lengthy, rugged coastline is dotted with beach resorts such as chic Dinard and walled Saint-Malo, built on rock in the English Channel. The Pink Granite Coast is famed for its unusual, blush-hued sand and rocks. Brittany is known for its abundant prehistoric menhirs (a type of megalith).

Plot summary

As a young boy finds an old map of a treasure island in the mid 1700s, he joins a sailing crew on an adventure to find the treasure island. He does not realize however that bloodthirsty pirates are amongst the crew, desperately wanting to claim the treasure for themselves and are secretly planning a mutiny... Beautifully created adaption of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel 'Treasure Island', created for German/French television in 1966.
