Young introvert Daniel Bauer works as a gardener in the botanical gardens, where he gets to know Jana, one of his colleagues. Unafraid to expose the shocking brutality of murder, writer/director Thomas Sieben cleverly weaves together a chilling study of a serial killer and a story of damaged love. This disturbing and oppressive portrait of a mass murderer is ostensibly as cold and restrained as its hero.
