The three different sisters Maria, Dana and Julie live together again under the roof of their parents' house. But the "Golden Girls"' crisis-tested shared flat is in danger of collapsing again. Because Julie wants to forgive her sweetheart husband Bertram for the affair with his young assistant and return to him. However, when it turns out that Bertram only pushed her to have children quickly thirty years ago because he could elegantly eliminate the fiercest competitor for the position of laboratory director, Julie's stove is off. So the two of them agree on a democratic weekly schedule - the fulfillment of which will soon cause some turbulence for the pilot. However, when Claus spills a secret, Julie and Dana break up. Fortunately, Maria keeps a cool head in this difficult situation. She finds out that Claus is sowing discord so that the three sisters don't renew the patent for the baking powder invented by their mother - with which Claus' company wants to make millions.
