Plot summary
While a lion tamer is busy presenting his beasts a large chimpanzee takes advantage of being unobserved and escaped from his cage. He frightens everybody around the place and finally takes for the woods. A merry chase ensues and the monkey has the best of his pursuers who can not follow him so easily. The ape finally gets to a restaurant, chases the customers away and gets hold of a bottle with wine. This causes his arrest, while falling asleep and the trainer locks him safely back into his cage.
