Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. The city is known for its annual Oktoberfest celebration and its beer halls, including the famed Hofbräuhaus, founded in 1589. In the Altstadt (Old Town), central Marienplatz square contains landmarks such as Neo-Gothic Neues Rathaus (town hall), with a popular glockenspiel show that chimes and reenacts stories from the 16th century.
Tuscany is a region in central Italy. Its capital, Florence, is home to some of the world’s most recognizable Renaissance art and architecture, including Michelangelo’s "David" statue, Botticelli’s works in the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo basilica. Its diverse natural landscape encompasses the rugged Apennine Mountains, the island of Elba’s beaches on the Tyrrhenian Sea and Chianti’s olive groves and vineyards.
Einmal Toskana und zurück (2008)
Dr. Max Steigelmann and his wife Juliane only maintained the shambles of an outlived marriage until darling son Jonas graduated, now they part, bickering over Max offering a sports-car as graduation present. Nostalgy drives Juliane back to Tuscany, where the couple spent happy holidays. Max decides to sell the old minivan they drove in their hippie days, but first takes it on random last trip. He ends up in the same Tuscan town, where Jonas arrives with his girlfriend, sort of riding to ma's rescue. Now all Steigelmann relationships are up for reevaluation.
