A 30-year-old man returns from South America to his native village in the mountains of Yugoslavia to find his spouse. He chooses a self-supporting Jewish woman's youngest daughter. The deceit gets discovered on the way to South America: seven poor girls, including his bride-to-be, are imprisoned on the ship's deck. He took them, promising a wealthy marriage, and his real intention is to employ them in bordellos in Buenos Aires where they girls would be at his mercy because they don't know the language.
