Le Mans is a city in northwestern France. It's known for the 24 Hours of Le Mans Museum, which chronicles the history of the city's famed 24 Hours of Le Mans motor race. The Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans race track, offers simulator rides and amateur go-karting. In the old town, the Gothic-style Le Mans Cathedral features stained-glass windows and flying buttresses. East is the 13th-century Royal Abbey of Epau.
Nürburg is a town in the German district of Ahrweiler, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is also the name of the local castle, Nürburg Castle, which was built in the High Middle Ages. The castle is made of basalt which usually has black color. The well-known 24-kilometre racing track Nürburgring is nearby.
Monza is a city just northeast of Milan, in northern Italy. Monza Cathedral, with a 16th-century bell tower, houses the frescoed Teodolinda Chapel. The neoclassical Royal Villa of Monza, a grand estate with English landscape gardens, sits on the edge of sprawling Monza Park. Crossed by the River Lambro, this walled park also encompasses a former hunting reserve and the 1922 Autodromo Nazionale, a Formula 1 racetrack.
Stuttgart, capital of southwest Germany’s Baden-Württemberg state, is known as a manufacturing hub. Mercedes-Benz and Porsche have headquarters and museums here. The city is filled with greenspaces, which wrap around its center. Popular parks include the Schlossgarten, Rosensteinpark and Killesbergpark. Wilhelma, one of the largest zoos and botanical gardens in Europe, is just northeast of Rosenstein Castle.
Endurance (2020)
In 2019, the two toughest endurance events in motor racing took place back-to-back: the 24h of Le Mans and the 24h of the Nürburgring. ENDURANCE is the story of the Porsche GT Team that took on this double challenge.
