Munich, Bavaria’s capital, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums. Munich in the 1920's. An art-gallery manager puts on a show featuring the scandalous works of a woman artist who committed suicide. He is unjustly accused of having committed adultery with her, and the authorities decide to intervene.
