Plot summary

Óscar Ventura, self-made millionaire, flees Goa in 1961 to save his daughter Helena, leaving behind partner Kali and son Raul. He builds a vast fortune in Portugal, marries Margarida, who plots with Jaime to seize the Ventura wealth. Helena divorces Jaime, finds love with Mateus, while Raul, resentful towards Óscar, reconnects with him. Margarida and Jaime's deceit unravels, leading to a dramatic confrontation of love and betrayal.
