Plot summary

Anatolia is under Greek occupation. Turkish soldiers are fighting for independence. Captain Necdet and his soldiers are assigned to blow up an enemy-controlled bridge. They visit a village house and ask for someone who can guide them. Fato, the daughter of the house, volunteers for this job.
