Normans Bay is a coastal fishing hamlet in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, England. The 8th Duke of Devonshire donated this land for a combined school and place of worship in the 1860s to be known as Pevensey Sluice. It was later renamed Normans Bay when the railway halt of that name was first opened in 1905.

Eastbourne is a resort town on England’s southeast coast. On the seafront are Victorian hotels, the 19th-century Eastbourne Pier and a 1930s bandstand. Towner Art Gallery includes modern British works. Nearby, Redoubt Fortress, built during the Napoleonic Wars, has a military museum. Southwest along the coast, in South Downs National Park, are the tall chalk cliffs of Beachy Head and its striped 1902 lighthouse.

The underground Canterbury Roman Museum has excavated mosaics. Whitstable, to the north, is a coastal town with colourful cottages and a harbourside fish market. East, along the coast, Margate is home to the Turner Contemporary art gallery.
