Plot summary
From This Small Place is a coming-of-age story within the backdrop of the Rohingya refugee crisis. The film follows six-year-old Hossain Johar as he fills his days with the grand adventure of childhood. But soon, deadly monsoons shatter his fragile peace as the family faces flooding, landslides, and even illness. Hossain strives to maintain his childhood world of fun but he must make sense of the complexities of the adult world around him for the first time in his young life.
