Gino: A Child of War (2023)
1944 Italy. Gino is a five year-old orphan, lost and alone in the middle of a destructive war. Foraging for months in the rubble, starving and swollen he is found one dark night, by two Canadian soldiers. Near death, they choose to break the rules and nurse him back to health. GINO... this child of war is nurtured, educated, cared for and given a uniform buy a loving family of soldiers who change his life and over the next 10 months of the war build a bond of love that will last a lifetime.
