In the offices of English printing pioneers Hadley Print & Press sits Richard Simpson, a junior executive who has it all: a gorgeous secretary he longs to hold; the Hadley TK-421, Britains first commercial photocopier and his idea for the companys future; and the knowledge that this is the day that he and one other man, Malcolm Howard, will be promoted to the highest echelons of the company. Yet as with most best laid plains, Richards are going to lead him to a dark place and one bloody, rather funny, form of retribution.
