Plot summary

A seventeen-year-old girl is knocked up. She will deliver at a cottage with her parents. She does not feel anything regarding her pregnancy, which her parents find quizzical. A blind man lives in a nearby mountain shack and looks haggard. He has long hair, beard and not conventional. He abhors people and loves birds. The girl is interested in the man.
