The film is based on the most popular series of pocket books, ever written in Israel (over a million copies sold). The story takes place in Israel of the 1940's, when the Israel was part of the British Empire. Under the British rule, a gang of horse robbers raids the stables of the central KIBUTZ, and the HASAMBA group comes to save the day. The HASAMBA kids are a gang of "mini heroes" - brave teenagers fighting for the country.
