Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Its 19th-century cityscape is crisscrossed by wide boulevards and the River Seine. Holden is a young photographer with a problem of short-term memory, who travels to Paris for a photo session with a successful French actor. Holden falls in love from the very beginning. Both will spend the night together, knowing that it will probably be the only night they'll spend together.
