In the year 1910, because of the first century of Independency in Argentina, the governor of Buenos Aires gives the pardon to some prisoners. One of the people who recovers his freedom is El Corralero, a hit-man who wants to change his life and decides to avoid any conflict. He returns to San Telmo. In his mind, he has the souvenirs of the story that his cell partner, Nicolás Fuente, who died before the pardon and was jailed because the treason of his ex-lover and some ex-friends. By mysterious ways, El Corralero finds that destiny is making of him the avenger of Nicolás.
