Plot summary

Since the death of their parents in a tragic car accident Saverio and his little brother Augusto have been living with their Aunt and Uncle in a bucolic village high in the Italian Alps. Saverio's spiritual bond with nature leads him to extraordinary adventures, mostly in the company of his pet goat Charlie. The unexpected arrival of Valentino from the USA, after a forty-year absence, gives the villagers something to gossip about and Saverio's colourful exploits continue as the gentle community is thrust into turmoil when a toddler mysteriously disappears.
