Il marengo di Tontolini Filming Locations

Tontolini is a military man, and before leaving barracks is in a quandary how to dispose of a sovereign his father has sent him. He decides upon dropping the sovereign into his scabbard, the only difficulty being that he has to draw his sword each time he wants to get at his money. At every place where he makes a purchase and is seen drawing his sword, the people get frightened and hustle him out of the shop. He ultimately meets his girl, and takes her into a restaurant, where, on production of the bill, he once more tries to draw his sword to get at his sovereign. The police are sent for the unfortunate Tontolini given into custody, and at the police station he is at last allowed to get at his ''quid" in order to pay his fine.
