The strikingly modern Norton Simon Museum houses notable European and Asian art, plus a sculpture garden. The Rose Bowl is a sports stadium known for hosting the Rose Bowl Game, an annual college football clash usually held on January 1.

Santa Clara is a city near San Jose, in California's Silicon Valley. Many tech companies are headquartered here. The Intel Museum has exhibits about technological milestones, like the making of the silicon chip. California's Great America amusement park is known for its thrill rides. San Francisco’s professional football team, the 49ers, play at Levi’s Stadium. Local artwork is featured at the Triton Museum of Art.

Santa Clarita is a California city north of Los Angeles. It's known for the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park, with many roller coasters. The adjacent Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a summertime water park with tall slides and a wave pool. The prehistoric stone formations of Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park have served as a backdrop for many films. William S. Hart Park has a museum dedicated to the silent-film star.

Santa Monica is a coastal city west of downtown Los Angeles. Santa Monica Beach is fringed by Palisades Park, with views over the Pacific Ocean. Santa Monica Pier is home to the Pacific Park amusement park, historic Looff Hippodrome Carousel and Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Next to the pier is Muscle Beach, an outdoor gym established in the 1930s. In the city center, Bergamot Station houses several art galleries.

Santa Paula is a city in Ventura County, California, United States. Situated amid the orchards of the Santa Clara River Valley, the city advertises itself to tourists as the "Citrus Capital of the World". Santa Paula was one of the early centers of California's petroleum industry.
