Berlin, Germany’s capital, dates to the 13th century. Reminders of the city's turbulent 20th-century history include its Holocaust memorial and the Berlin Wall's graffitied remains. Divided during the Cold War, its 18th-century Brandenburg Gate has become a symbol of reunification. The city's also known for its art scene and modern landmarks like the gold-colored, swoop-roofed Berliner Philharmonie, built in 1963.
Into the Suite (2014)
A video journalist, Paul Heitmann, who converted to Islam out of love for a woman, is about to interview Linda Gray, a young, wild American actress with Russian roots who is in Berlin for the premiere of her new song "I wanna fuck a nazi". The eccentric diva is prone to excesses of all sorts: aggressive outbursts, drugs, sex with changing partners of all sexes, and numerous stints in rehab. She's a former porn queen desperate for love. Linda is controlled by her manager, Rockhead, a drug addicted, narcissistic, ex-actors of Jewish descent, whose ancestors were killed in German concentration camps. An explosive mixture develops when Linda fan girls and two drug dealers with a Nazi background join Linda in her hotel room. A wild orgy with drugs, sex, music, violence and death is captured by journalist Paul with a hidden camera. When Linda Gray leaves the city after 24 hours, she leaves a trail of devastation.
