Plot summary

This partly biographical film about the Polish revolutionary depicts his complicated nature and his involvement in the national movement in the Poland of the 1960s and 1970s. The rebel Dabrowski led the 1863 uprising there, ultimately ending tragically on the barricades in Paris.
