Konfektkassinn (2008)
The title "A Box of Chocolates" refers to the structure of the story which revolves around a hopeless search for a three-layered chocolate box. Under the surface is a heartwarming story about the relationship between Ragnar, an ailing old man, and his daughter, Hrönn, who is picking him up from hospital. Hrönn thinks that she is taking her father straight home but he wants to buy a big box of chocolate to thank the nurses at the hospital for their kindness and care. He doesn't like supermarkets so he drags his daughter along on a cab journey through the center of Reykjavik where he is certain to find what he is looking for.
