Set somewhere in rural México circa 1950, the story revolves around the return of a large land owner's son to their parents' state (hacienda) at a time when a criminal ring is vandalizing them and other villagers. A bit before, a masked man, called "el gavilán", starts acting like a Robin Hood, and thus gains locals' appreciation. Regional songs, gunshots, love rivalries, etc.
