Alicia is a movie actress who, eventually, is part of a theater company that goes through the towns representing Zorrilla's "Don Juan Tenorio". She is tired of the public only appreciating her beauty, but she is not satisfied with her work in the play either. After a stormy rehearsal, she flees the theater dressed in the habit of Doña Inés, but her car sinks in a pothole at the entrance of a town, for which she has to go to a mechanic.
