Montréal is the largest city in Canada's Québec province. It’s set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mt. Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Its boroughs, many of which were once independent cities, include neighbourhoods ranging from cobblestoned, French colonial Vieux-Montréal – with the Gothic Revival Notre-Dame Basilica at its centre – to bohemian Plateau.

-Television series on urban agriculture hosted by Ricardo Larrivée at Radio-Canada. Three families and a group will take part in an urban agriculture experience, accompanied by Antoine Trottier, their horticultural advisor. Ricardo will present what's being done here and there in this area, in addition to preparing delicious dishes featuring products from the vegetable garden. Throughout the season, you will discover the different facets of the "return to the land" in the city. You'll learn that urban agriculture is a reality, even if it's not always visible, and that no matter how much space you have, you can grow fruits and vegetables for your own personal consumption.
