For over two decades, throughout the prism of performing arts, Neusa Thomasi, director of the Compagnie des Contraires, has been taking action in favor of the cultural life of Chanteloup-les-Vignes, the poorest suburban city of Paris. This troupe, originally travelling the streets of the city before settling in the circus tent in the heart of the Noé ghetto, gives the opportunity for the youth to participate in the creation of shows with professionals and is in line with social matters: prevention and promotion of civic rights and togetherness. This movie is a woman movie ; directed by a woman, it shows us the work of Neusa Thomasi, a committed woman, and the children that she follows and allows to dream. Place of poetry in the center of the asphalte and symbol of its success that has built up its reputation to what it is today: an institution, is the solid circus tent that was ravaged by arson in November 2019, real act of opposition to municipal politics.
