Le trésor d'Angoulême Filming Locations

The treasure of the cathedral of Angoulême, begun in 2008 and completed in 2016, is a monumental work by the artist Jean-Michel Othoniel which features more than 200 objects and liturgical sculptures dating mostly from the nineteenth century. This project is an order from Drac Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The film of Gilles Coudert and Damien Faure makes us live the adventure of the Treasury through the word of Jean-Michel Othoniel and the meeting in their workshop, the Masters of Art who developed it with him. Decision makers with numerous artisans, all testify to the long process of this major achievement.
